8 k; o; H/ Q8 U3 o+ ` x4 UI stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90 4 e( `7 m4 Z ^6 q) H+ Z
scanner. For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my 4 {9 A! v/ i* P, ^' Y' ^5 z( R
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
9 H2 B/ r! W7 d0 h4 sTarget, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units. I already own 4 Y3 f8 L/ [1 ?
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds / m1 V% C2 Y8 b+ B5 _
of dollars for more than I need. ' F# [* e& s8 b) H, C L9 v+ h

This scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the 5 C5 m! c9 j7 ]& Z
ones of me as a baby. My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
2 [2 I+ I2 T) y0 y* TDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades. I 3 g0 X/ L1 V/ J5 u5 p9 S1 r
should be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over / B) V$ @. @ p- h2 b
the years in an old suitcase. Now if I could only figure out who all
' O" @& x/ L$ O% G; Y8 w, qthose people in really old photos are!
